Do fish really eat birds?
Normally large predatory fish feed upon other fishes
however it seems strange but it is true, some of the large predatory
fish can capture birds and gobble up them. Also, some fishes can
scavenge dead birds.
Examples:
1. Arowanas eat small birds
Arowanas can eat small birds and they can even capture
snakes. They also eat rabbits, frogs, insects, smaller fish, and
crustaceans. Arowanas are also related to the arapaima.
2. Muskellunges eat ducklings
Muskellunge are very large pikes and are the largest of
their family. Their diet doesn’t stop with fish, they eat birds, mammals,
and frogs. They like to eat ducks, especially ducklings. Some large
muskies can capture full-grown waterfowl (duck, goose, swans, etc.,).
3. Goliath tigerfish snatches swallow while it is flying
Goliath tigerfish were the first fish to eat a flying barn
swallow.
