4. What are the greatest and the smallest 7-digit numbers you can make using the digits 3 ,5, 7 , 1 , 2 ? ( digits may be repeated. ) 

Greatest number (descending order ):

given there are five digits, but we have to make 7 digits number
also we have to form greater number
here, 7 is the greatest digit so, 
we can write that as 77,75,321.

Smallest number (ascending order) :

here, 1 is the smallest digit
hence 11,12,357.

5. Write the number after :

a. 79,98,999

To find the number after add 1 to the number.
so, 79,98,999 + 1 = 79,99,000

b. 15,09,999


To find the number after add 1 to the number.
so, 15,09,999 + 1 = 15,10,000


6. Write the number before :

a. 5,10,000

To find the number before subtract 1 to the number.
so, 5,10,000 - 1 = 5,09,999

b. 13,80,970

To find the number before subtract 1 to the number.
so, 13,80,970 - 1 = 13,80,969

7. Compare using >,< or =.

8. Put the commas using the international system and rewrite these statements using the word form of the number.

9. Rewrite these news headlines by rounding.

a. The flight carrying the cricketers from South Africa landed at 8:18 p.m. (Round to the nearest half hour )

8:18 p.m. that is 18mins is closer to 30mins.
hence 8:30 p.m.

b. The stolen collection had 13,078 precious stamps and coins. (Round to the nearest 1000. )

13,078 is close to 13,000.
